Frankie Marston Tabbed NESCAC Player of the Week

Marston earns the weekly conference honor for the first time.

Frankie Marston of the #9 Middlebury women's soccer team has garnered NESCAC Player of the Week laurels for the first time in her career.

HONOREE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Marston was a pivotal part of a 1-0-2 week in front of the net for Middlebury. 
  • The Panther goalie opened the slate with four saves in a 0-0 tie on the road against Union before tallying three stops in a 5-0 shutout of Connecticut College. 
  • Marston's performance against the Camels helped seal the program's fifth consecutive home opening triumph. 
  • The junior closed the week with a career-high seven saves to solidify a 1-1 draw with defending Liberty League Champion and unbeaten Vassar.

Marston and her teammates return to action on Saturday when the squad travels to Massachusetts for a 12:00 p.m. game at #22 Amherst.
