The Panthers were honored by the ITA for their work in the classroom.
The 19th-ranked Middlebury men's tennis program was one of 147 Division III institutions to earn Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic honors. Additionally, 11 Panthers were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
All-Academic squads must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher, and all student-athletes must be listed on the institutional eligibility form. Varsity letter winners should also be factored into the cumulative GPA.
Student-athletes who earn scholar-athlete status must have a GPA of at least 3.50 for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form. Hugh Hentschel, Nathan Hernandez, Sidney Huet, Nathan Jackson, Nikky Kondamuri, Reif Larsen, Noah Lewis, Thehan Wijemanne, Julian Wu, Andrew Yim and Justin Zhou were recognized by the organization.Â
The Panthers posted a 14-5 mark and claimed seven victories in NESCAC play.
