Peluso joins the Panthers after a two-year stint at Princeton University.
Middlebury has announced the hiring of Patrick Peluso as an assistant football coach who will work with the running backs and tight ends. Peluso joins the Panthers after serving as an offensive quality control coach at Princeton University for each of the previous two seasons.
"Patrick Peluso is a fantastic addition to our coaching staff," said Michael G. Heinecken Head Coach of Football Doug Mandigo '96. "He has a passion for football and a great mind and work ethic. Most importantly, Patrick cares deeply about the well-being and development of our players."
"I am very excited and honored to join the Middlebury football program," stated Peluso. "The proud tradition, culture and standard that Coach Mandigo and the staff have built is truly impressive. I look forward to helping with the continued success of the program and am especially excited to work with the student-athletes both on and off the field."
During the previous two years with the Tigers, Peluso worked with the tight ends and the offensive line.Â
He has also made a coaching stop at Immaculata High School in New Jersey. During his time, Peluso coached the offensive and defensive line. He also worked with the scout team and helped film practices while utilizing GoRout technology.
He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in sports management. Peluso was a member of the Devil football and lacrosse teams. Off the field, he garnered a spot on the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Academic Honor Roll each semester.
