Three members of the #12 Middlebury women's tennis team have earned All-NESCAC laurels.
Elsie Van Wieren carved out a first-team spot in singles, while
Ren Barton and
Anna Lardner locked down second-team accolades. The doubles pair of Van Wieren and Lardner was one of four tandems to secure first-team praise.

- Van Wieren (First Team Singles)
- The sophomore bolsters a lengthy league resume with her second All-NESCAC singles honor. Last season, she was named the conference's Rookie of the Year and landed on the first team in both singles and doubles.
- Competing in the top flight across every match this spring, Van Wieren slots seventh in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) individual rankings.
- She owns a stellar 15-3 mark in dual play, including an unblemished 10-0 record against league foes and an 8-3 tally against ranked opponents.
- The Panther enters the NCAA Tournament on an eight-match winning streak and has prevailed in 14 of her last 15 contests.
- Van Wieren boasts a 45-12 mark in individual competition, including an 18-3 record in the top position.

- The duo touts a 10-3 record during the campaign, including a 9-3 line in the top position and a triumph at #2.

- Barton secures the NESCAC laurel in her debut season.
- The Panther has found sustained spring success after claiming the Singles "B" Draw Title at the ITA New England Regional Championships in September. Barton has logged a 20-6 record in singles and a 7-4 mark against ranked squads.
- Before the conference championship, Barton had prevailed in eight of her prior 10 matches.
- She has competed in the third, fourth and fifth flights this spring. The rookie is 7-3 at #4, 3-1 at #5 and 2-0 at #3. Her 12 victories in 2026 slot third on the squad.
The Panthers prepare to host an NCAA Regional this weekend, taking on the winner of #17 Tufts and Hartwick on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from the Outdoor Tennis Courts.
