#19 Men’s Tennis Logs Two All-NESCAC Honors

The #19 Middlebury men's tennis team has earned two All-NESCAC honors. Julian Wu secured a spot on the first team in singles, while Reif Larsen and Thehan Wijemanne were tabbed a second-team doubles selection.

HONOREE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Wu (First Team Singles)
    • The senior earns his third career singles honor and lands on the first team for the second time.
    • Wu has competed exclusively in the top flight in 2026 and is ranked ninth in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) individual rankings.
    • He posted a 12-4 mark this spring and won six of his final 10 matches.
    • Wu earned his 80th career singles triumph in a hard-fought 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) victory over Bowdoin's Mark Kneiss in the regular-season finale. He owns an 81-24 mark during solo competition.
  • Larsen & Wijemanne (Second Team Doubles)
    • The duo played all but two matches together during the spring campaign, sporting an 11-5 mark.
    • Larsen and Wijemanne bounced between the #1 and #2 slots in the lineup. The pairing went 8-1 in the second position and was victorious in four of its final five matches. 
    • Wijemanne earns his third conference honor, while Larsen tallies his initial All-NESCAC laurel.

The Panthers finished their season with a 14-5 record and a 7-3 mark in conference play.
