The 13th-ranked Middlebury women's golf team earned its first team title of the year, securing the Northeast Invitational with a two-day score of 598 (294-304). Bowdoin, ranked #18, secured the runner-up spot with a score of 610, while #7 Amherst (611) and #5 Williams (616) completed the top-four squads.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The trio of Ella Han, Morgan Lee and Season Wei paced the squad with identical scores of 148 to tie for fifth place. Han posted a team-best 73 on Sunday, including four birdies over the final 18 holes. During her first round, she birdied three consecutive holes on her way to a 75.
- Lee shot a 72 during the opening round on Saturday, highlighted by a trio of birdies before closing the invitational with a 76. Wei fired a career-best 71 on Saturday, punctuated with a 34 on the back nine that featured three birdies. Wei tallied a 77 during the final round.
- Julia Hua wrapped up her two rounds with a share of 17th. The Panther converted a pair of birdies on Saturday on her way to a career-best 76, followed on Sunday with a 78 for a combined score of 154.
- Rounding out the scorers for Middlebury was Elizabeth Whalen, who fired a combined score of 157 (77-80) to tie four others in 24th place.
NOTES
- Hua's 154 was a collegiate-low showing over 36 holes.
- Daniella Honkamp landed in a tie for 17th as an individual, recording a career-best effort of 154 on a pair of 77s.
The Panthers are idle until they compete in the three-day NESCAC Championship hosted by Williams from Friday, May 1 to Sunday, May 3 at the Taconic Golf Club.
