Elizabeth Whalen tied for 36th as an individual during the Jack Leaman Invitational.
The #13 Middlebury women's golf team concluded competition in the two-day Jack Leaman Invitational on Sunday. The Panthers posted a 36-hole score of 631 to finish sixth out of 12 teams. Second-ranked New York University secured the team crown with a score of 597, while #4 Williams (603) and #6 Amherst (604) completed out the top three.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Season Wei spearheaded the Middlebury efforts. Her matching 76s placed her in a tie for ninth with four other golfers. She dropped in an eagle on the par-five third hole during Sunday's second round and added three birdies across the two sessions.
- Morgan Lee carved a spot inside the top 30, sinking three birdies during her second round to post a 36-hole tally of 157. The finish matched four other golfers.
- Julia Hua shared 31st place with Amherst's Karolyn Zeng after shooting rounds of 80 and 79.
- Concluding the Panther scorers was Daniella Honkamp in 46th (165).
NOTES
- Hua tied her career-best score in a two-round format at 159.
- Elizabeth Whalen landed in a tie for 36th place as an individual (162). Her Sunday score of 78 matched her single-round low as a Panther.
Middlebury travels to Southwick, Massachusetts next weekend for Wellesley's Northeast Invitational.
