The 13th-ranked Middlebury women's squash team did not concede a game in its 9-0 decision of Connecticut College on Saturday. Amherst served as the host for the match.
HIGHLIGHTS
- All nine matches went the way of the sweep, with seven Panthers surrendering less than 11 points across their three games.
- Caroline Didden (11-4, 11-0, 11-2) and Sophie Calise (11-2, 11-1, 11-3) held their opponents to six points in their respective straight-game triumphs at #8 and #9, respectively.
- Izzy Ronda prevailed over Gwyneth Perez-Perez to clinch the match in the third slot (11-1, 11-3, 11-3).
- Aanvi Anand (#2) and Didden each posted an 11-0 game.
NOTES
- Yu Ying Ng swept Magnolia Strouse in the exhibition match (11-2, 11-0, 11-1).
- The programs met for the 28th time. Middlebury owns an 11-match winning streak in the series.
