The #22 Middlebury women's swimming and diving team accumulated five individual event triumphs and one relay victory during its two-day Middlebury Invitational from the Natatorium. Before Saturday's evening session, the program honored seniors

HIGHLIGHTS
- Anna McGrew nabbed her first event win of the weekend in Friday's 50-yard backstroke, touching the wall in 26.59 seconds. She also claimed the 100 freestyle with a clocking of 51.47 seconds.
- Emma Hall secured gold in the 50 breaststroke, posting a clocking of 30.20.
- The next Middlebury event winner was Isla Johnston, who claimed the 400 individual medley (IM) by nearly 20 seconds (4:39.09).
- In the 100 back, Chloe Bautista prevailed by seven-hundredths of a second for her first event title of the campaign (1:00.85).
- The Panther quartet of Johnston, McGrew, Holly Mattson and Grace Nadecki blazed to a time of 7:49.44 to secure the 800 free relay. Avery Dollard, Olivia Schwarz, Reese Paison and Molly Nordquist followed in second with a combined 7:58.96.
- Hannah Baumgartner clocked a 2:09.41 in the 200 IM to earn runner-up honors.
- Pai Easterbrook secured silver in the 3-meter dive, amassing 374.55 points.
- Mattson saved the fastest split of her race in the 200 back for the final surge, clearing the final 50 yards in 33.52 seconds to finish second (2:16.89).
- Mia Cuiffo followed McGrew in the 100 free, touching the wall in 53.06 for silver.
- Molly Nordquist earned runner-up accolades in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:12.15.
NOTES
- McGrew earned her eighth and ninth event wins of the campaign, including her first in the 50 back.
- Hall posted her initial win in the 50 breast, while Johnston grabbed first in the 400 IM for the first time this season.
Middlebury turns its focus to the NESCAC Championships, hosted by Wesleyan beginning on Thursday, February 12.
