The Middlebury nordic skiing team wrapped up the Colby Carnival with the 7.5K interval start on Saturday at the Quarry Road Trails. The Panthers finished in fourth place with 613 points. Dartmouth took home its second carnival victory of the winter, scoring 869 points. The University of Vermont grabbed runner-up honors (810.5 points), followed by the University of New Hampshire (733.5 points).

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- The women's team excelled on the course, finishing second with 110 points.
- Shea Brams led the way for Middlebury. The captain earned runner-up honors, clocking a 23:30.4.
- Joining Brams in the top 10 was Mica Bodkins, who posted the 10th-quickest time of 24:33.4.
- Sofia Scirica claimed 16th with an effort of 24:54.6 to cap the scores for the Panthers.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- The men's squad recorded 79 points, good for fifth in the discipline's final standings.
- Mason Wheeler paced the efforts, crossing the line in eighth place with a time of 21:18.5.
- Finishing 10 spots back was Nathan Doughty at 21:39.1.
- Closing the Middlebury scorers was Abrahm Geissinger, earning a 21:53.3 for 26th overall.
NOTES
- Brams tallied her third podium finish of the campaign. Her opening lap of 7:20.6 was the quickest of the competitors who finished.
- Doughty had the second-fastest opening lap of the 88 competitors who completed their trips around the course with a time of 06:34.4.
Middlebury returns to competition on Friday for the start of the Dartmouth Carnival.
