Connor McClellan earns the league's weekly honor for the second time in his career.
Connor McClellan of the Middlebury football team has been named the NESCAC Offensive Player of the Week following his performance in a 27-17 come-from-behind victory at Colby. The weekly honor is the running back's first this fall and second in a Panther uniform.

HIGHLIGHTS
- McClellan spearheaded a second-half comeback as Middlebury outscored the Mules 27-7 over the final 30 minutes to seal the 10-point triumph.
- The Panther ran the ball 21 times for a career-high 152 yards, averaged 7.2 yards per carry and scored two touchdowns.Â
- With 7:00 left in the fourth quarter, McClellan took a handoff and raced 66 yards for a score to give the Panthers the lead for good. The scamper was his longest in a navy and white uniform.
- His rushing yardage total is the second-highest output in a conference game this season.
- McClellan paces the league with five rushing touchdowns through the first three contests.
McClellan and his teammates return to action on Saturday when they host Amherst for a 2:00 p.m. kickoff.
