Lincoln Mackay finished in a tie for sixth place.
The Middlebury men's golf team posted its best score of the weekend during Sunday's third round with a 300 at the Williams Fall Invitational, finishing in eighth place with a two-day score of 910. Babson won the team title with 874 strokes, while Williams (885), Amherst (888), Hamilton (889) and Tufts (890) rounded out the top-five spots. The event was a 54-hole invitational.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Pacing the Middlebury pack was Lincoln Mackay, finishing in a tie for sixth place with a 218 (73-73-72).
- Just two strokes back was Charlie Schulman, placing 10th with three other golfers. The Panther shot a pair of 71s sandwiched around 78 in the second round.
- Logan Wang posted a three-round tally of 232 to tie for 42nd, highlighted by a 74 on during the second 18 holes on Saturday.
- Rounding out the group was Jake Forrest (79-83-79) in a tie for 65th place, while Evan Fulgieri (80-82-83) was 72nd.
NOTES
- Mackay recorded 10 birdies during the tournament, including five in an eight-hole stretch during the second round.
- Schulman posted six holes under par, highlighted by a pair of fours on the par-five opening hole.
