#25 Women’s Cross Country Wins Hoffman Invitational

MK Cestaro and Shea Fajen compete at the 2025 Aldrich Invitational.
The 25th-ranked Middlebury women's cross country team secured a third consecutive first-place finish at the 33rd Annual Hoffmann Invitational with 27 points. Queen's University took second place with 30 points, while St. Lawrence finished with 80 points to round out the top three teams.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Audrey MacLean led the Panthers and the field in Canton, breaking the tape with a time of 21:32.2 to earn her first race win of the season.
  • Just 10 seconds back was Claire Palmer (21:42.2) with runner-up honors, while Annelise Jensen finished third with a clocking of 22:05.3.
  • Shea Fajen finished inside the top 10, crossing the line in 22:52.5 to place ninth.
  • Middlebury's next finisher was MK Cestaro, who clocked at 23:04.1 to take 12th place.
  • Claiming 15th overall was Stephanie Renouf with a time of 23:14.3.
  • Grace Kaelber rounded out the Panther scorers with a career-best clocking of 23:37.6.
NOTES
  • Saturday's event marked the third consecutive invite that MacLean, Palmer and Jensen finished as Middlebury's top-three scorers in any order.
  • This is the third time in the last four years that the women have competed in the Hoffman Invitational.
The Panthers next compete in the Paul Short Run on Friday, October 3.
