Acosta joins the Panthers after serving as an assistant at the University of New Hampshire.
Middlebury has announced Parker Acosta as the assistant alpine skiing coach. Acosta joins the Panthers after serving in a similar role at the University of New Hampshire.
"I am thrilled to welcome Parker as our new assistant alpine ski coach at Middlebury College," said head coach Abby Copeland. "He brings a fresh perspective, deep technical knowledge and a strong commitment to athlete development. Parker will be an invaluable part of our ongoing pursuit of competitive success and meaningful support of our student-athletes.
"I am excited to join Middlebury College as the next assistant alpine skiing coach," said Acosta. "Middlebury skiing is a well-developed program, and I'm eager to work with Abby and Santi to continue to make an already solid alpine program even stronger."
While with the Wildcats, Acosta provided leadership, mentorship and strategic coaching to help student-athletes achieve their goals. His efforts helped produce three All-Americans, the 2025 NCAA Slalom Champion and multiple Eastern Intercolligiate Skiing Association (EISA) accolades.
Before UNH, Acosta was the U14 Lead Coach at the Rowmark Ski Academy in Salt Lake City, Utah. He led training camps and projects for first-year skiers while coordinating travel and equipment for the program.Â
Acosta began his coaching career with the Snowbasin Ski Education Foundation in Ogden, Utah. He mentored athletes of all ages in this role and gained valuable experience as a course crew member.Â
Acosta graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in cybersecurity and network management from Weber State in 2020. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire last May.
