The Panthers have had 72 All-American scholars since the 2019-20 season.
The Middlebury women's ice hockey team placed 16 players on the American Hockey Coaches Association Krampade/AHCA All-American Scholars list. The Panthers are one of 53 teams across Division II and III women's hockey to have athletes named to the squad.
To be eligible for the honor, each player must have held a 3.75 grade point average (GPA) or above for each semester of competition and appear in 40 percent of the team's contests.
Seniors Cat Appleyard, Selia Coady, Jordan Hower, Elinor Keehn, Sabrina Kim, Molly MacQueen, Sophia Merageas, Kyle Quinlan, Raia Schluter and Cece Ziegler each tallied the accolade. Additionally, juniors Avery McInerny, Rachel Neyman and Meg Simon were also selected. Rookies Olivia Gordon, Ainsley Gray, Emma Hannah and Lauren Sobczak rounded out the Middlebury honorees.
The Panthers have had double-digit All-American scholars in four of the last six campaigns. The full list of honorees can be found here.
