Despite moderate rain throughout the second round, the Middlebury men's golf team completed its second round at the 2025 NESCAC Championship. After 36 holes, the Panthers sit sixth overall with a team score of 606. Hamilton leads the way with a 585, while Trinity (586) and Amherst (590) sit close behind.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Leading the Middlebury charge was Henry Harrison. The Panther carded a 72 to rise to fourth overall with a two-round total of 145.
- Brendan Maykel was one of two players to shoot a 76 over 18 holes to sit tied for 17th after 36 holes. He tallied two birdies over the final nine.
- Next up was Charlie Shulman who recorded a 79. The Panther is currently in a three-way tie for 30th.
- Middlebury's final scorer of the round was Bradshaw Underhill who shaved five strokes off his opening round with a 76 to rise 10 spots for a share of 33rd.
- Paul Fine-Lease rounded out the competitors for the Panthers. He shot an 85, putting him 43rd after 36 holes.Â

- Harrison has a team-high six birdies through two rounds. His 72 is also a season-low for a single round.
- This is the first year the NESCAC Golf Championship has expanded to a three-day 54-hole tournament.
- Middlebury put together eight birdies as a team over the round.
The Panthers return to the links for the final day of competition on Sunday, with the first two golfers hitting the course at 9:00 a.m.
