Five Panthers Lauded With CSA Scholar Athlete Awards

Five members were lauded by the CSA as Scholar Athlete Award winners.
The #16 Middlebury men's squash team landed five student-athletes on the College Squash Association (CSA) Scholar Athlete Award list. The award recognizes a distinguished group of juniors and seniors who have demonstrated excellence on and off the court.

Earning the accolades were Alexis Ballo, Nathan Feinstein, Kian Kardestuncer, Theo Kogan and Will Lichstein.

The five Panthers have helped lead the squad to 36 wins over the last four seasons and a pair of berths in the Summers Cup and Koehn Cup. The quintet tallied places on the NESCAC All-Academic team and Feinstein was tabbed to the All-NESCAC First Team during the 2024-25 campaign.

To earn a spot on the CSA Scholar Athlete Award list, the student-athlete must be a two-time varsity letter winner at the school they attend, have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or above. They must be enrolled at their present school for one full year before the present term and have played a top-10 ladder position for the majority of scheduled CSA-sanctioned matches.
