The Middlebury men's golf team closed out the regular season at The Berkshire Invitational hosted by Williams. Tufts won the event with a score of 579, while the Ephs were second (581) and, Hamilton was third (585). The Panthers rounded out the group with a 611 over the 36-hole event.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Pacing Middlebury was Brendan Maykel, finishing in a tie for 18th place with a 153 (76-77).
• Benny Burns (79-76) and Bradshaw Underhill (78-77) each finished in 21st with 155s. Burns rose three spots over the final 18 holes, while Underhill tallied a team-best seven birdees over the weekend.
• Moving up four spots on Sunday, Paul Fine-Lease carded a 156 (82-74) to place 23rd.
• Rounding out the scorers was Charlie Schulman with a 157 (75-82), which was good for 25th.

Middlebury heads back to the Taconic Golf Course for the three-day NESCAC Championship beginning on Friday, April 25 at 12:40 p.m.
