Ziggy Goddard clocked a collegiate-best time in the mile.
Donnell Harvey Jr. rewrote his own school record in the 60-meter dash, highlighting results for the Middlebury men's track and field team on Saturday in the Tufts National Qualifying Meet.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Harvey Jr. lowered his school record that he established a week ago with a clocking of 6.80 seconds in the final to claim the victory. His time ranks tied for 13th in Division III.
- Marco Motroni was right behind Harvey Jr, crossing the line in the final with a time of 6.83 for runner-up honors.
- A few events later, Ziggy Goddard posted a second-place clocking of 4:11.31 in the mile.
- In the 60 hurdles, Finn Albright was third with a time of 8.48, while Parker Loupessis (8.67) and Andrew Vigneax (8.83) earned sixth and seventh, respectively.
- The distance medley relay (DMR) quartet of Zach Utz, Emerson Kington, Will Lavey and Drew Donahue posted a season-best effort of 9:54.22 to earn fifth place. The time sits ninth in Division III.
- Henry Ericson cleared the bar in the pole vault (4.31m) to garner a sixth-place showing, while Dan Urchuk took part in the shot put (14.24m) for fifth overall.

- Goddard, Albright and Motroni each tallied collegiate-best clockings in their events.
Selections for the NCAA Indoor Championship will be announced on NCAA.com on Sunday, March 9 in the evening. This year's championships will take place March 14-15 at the Golisano Training Center in Rochester, New York.
