The Middlebury men's cross country team garnered academic awards from the USTFCCCA.
The #25 Middlebury men's cross country team posted the 15th-best grade point average (GPA) when the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its postseason academic awards. Five student-athletes were honored by the organization as All-Academic selections.
The Panthers were named a USTFCCCA Division III All-Academic Team which recognizes cross country programs that had a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 or higher including the most recent grading period. Middlebury posted a mark of 3.70 to rank 15th nationally.
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.00 scale and finish in the top 25% of their respective regional championship meet. Earning a spot as a USTFCCCA All-Academic recipient were

Ziggy Goddard,
Harry Griff,
Benjamin Hughes and
Tucker Jakobe.
At the conclusion of the fall season, nine Panthers were named to the NESCAC All-Academic Team. Middlebury capped off the 2024 season with a stellar 25th-place finish at the NCAA Championships. The Panthers posted a third-place showing at the NCAA MidEast Regional meet and were third at the NESCAC Championships. Middlebury began the year with team titles in its first two meets.
