Kian Kardestuncer claimed his 31st triumph as a Panther.
The 17th-ranked Middlebury men's squash team fell 8-1 to 10th-ranked Dartmouth on Wednesday from the Bostwick Family Squash Center.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The Big Green took a 2-0 lead with victories at #5 and #9, respectively.
- Kian Kardestuncer cut the deficit to one (2-1) with a 3-0 sweep over Ekam Singh from the third slot.
- Dartmouth ripped off consecutive sweeps at #1 and #7 to make the score 4-1.
- Theo Kogan battled in the sixth slot against Brandon Wang, rallying from a 2-1 deficit to force a fifth game. Wang took the finale 11-6 to clinch the victory for the Big Green in a match that lasted just over an hour.
- Dartmouth closed the evening with two shutouts from the eighth and fourth slots, respectively, followed by a 3-1 triumph at #2 for the 8-1 final.

Middlebury closes its regular season by hosting #19 Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) on Friday at 5:00 p.m. Before the match, the squad will honor seniors Alexis Ballo, Nathan Feinstein, Will Lichstein, and Julian Sandoval.
