Harrison & Tuccio Tabbed CSC Academic All-District Honorees

Middlebury volleyball players Molly Harrison and Ava Tuccio have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selections.

HONOREE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Harrison
    • Harrison is a computer science and statistics major and earns an all-district distinction for the second time.
    • The junior has been a NESCAC All-Academic honoree in each of the last two seasons.
    • Harrison was one of three Panthers to play in all 89 sets this fall, logging a team-high 341.5 points, 297 kills and 3.34 kills per set.
    • Her total points and kills per set marks were second in the conference, while her total successful attacks ranked third.
    • Harrison recorded 10 kills or more in nine of the last 10 matches and 20 overall.
    • The Panther tallied 14 double-doubles over the campaign, highlighted by 18 kills and 18 digs in the squad's 3-1 victory against Hamilton to close the regular season.
    • She became the seventh player in program history to surpass 1,000 career kills.
  • Tuccio
    • Securing her second all-district nod is Tuccio.
    • The senior logged 177.5 points and 141 kills over 25 matches.
    • Tuccio was second on the team with 62 blocks (51 assisted, 11 solo).
    • The middle blocker finishes her Middlebury career ninth in total blocks (259) and sixth in block assists with 202.
    • She is a three-time NESCAC All-Academic selection.

The organization will release its Academic All-America teams on Tuesday, January 13.
