Charlie Schulman secured his first top-five finish of the year.
The Middlebury men's golf team shot a 900 over 54 holes to finish in seventh place at the Skidmore Fall Invitational. Amherst grabbed the team title with a combined score of 864 strokes, followed by Trinity (869) and the host Thoroughbreds (874).

HIGHLIGHTS
- Sitting in a 14th-place tie after two rounds on Saturday, Charlie Schulman carded a two-under 70 over the final 18 holes for a share of third place with four other competitors.
- The next scorer in the Panther lineup was Jake Forrest. After starting with an 80 over the first round, the rookie recorded a 74 and a 72 to finish tied for 36th with a 226.
- Classmate Lincoln Mackay also earned 36th over the 54-hole invite, highlighted by a pair of 75s.
- Closing the scoring for Middlebury was Logan Wang in 69th (75-80-79-234).
NOTES
- Schulman's three-round score of 215 is a career best in a Panther uniform.
- Middlebury tallied at least a birdie on 22 holes as a unit over the two-day invitational.
- All 17 teams were able to complete the 54 holes after last year's invite was shortened to 18 holes due to weather.
