The #17-ranked Middlebury men's squash team was blanked by #12 Williams on Wednesday afternoon.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The Ephs jumped out to a 3-0 lead after securing victories in the #1, #6 and #8 spots.
- Williams clinched the match in the with consecutive sweeps in the #2 and #9 slots.
- The hosts increased their lead to 8-0 following wins in the #3, #4 and #7 positions.
- In the final game of the day, Caleb Boateng and Asher Leavy were deadlocked at two. Leavy though would pull out the fifth set to secure the 9-0 win.
NOTES
- The Panthers and Williams met off for the 27th time.
Middlebury returns home for the first time since early December on Saturday, hosting #11 Tufts at 1:00 p.m.
