The 16th-ranked Middlebury women's squash team beat #20 Bates 7-2 on Friday night.
 
HIGHLIGHTS

• Margaux Comai (#8), Mariana Reedich (#6), Madeline Schwarz (#7), Aanvi Anand (#4) and Izzy Ronda (#5) all swept their opponents. 
• Lindsey Burnham earned a 3-0 triumph over Grace Flaherty in the top position (16-14, 11-1, 13-11) to clinch the match for the Panthers.
• Abby Holding secured the first two games but fell in the #2 spot on the ladder to Scarlett Hine in five.
• The Bobcats second point came in a 3-1 victory in the third position.
• Middlebury earned the point at #9 via default to cap the 7-2 victory.

NOTES

• Reedich pushed her winning streak to a team-high seven-consecutive matches.
• The programs played for the 54th time overall with the Panthers holding a 38-16 advantage in the all-time series.

Middlebury continues their road weekend against #18 Bowdoin tomorrow at 3:00 p.m.
