The #16 Middlebury women's squash team downed #21 Dickinson 7-2 on Friday afternoon in its first match of three this weekend.
 
HIGHLIGHTS

• The Panthers started hot with Margaux Comai easing to a 3-0 triumph (11-3, 11-5, 11-3) in the seventh slot.
• The Red Devils tallied a sweep in the top position to tie the score at 1-1.
• Izzy Ronda, Aanvi Anand and Abbie Peterson grabbed Middlebury's next three points via shutouts for a 4-1 edge over Dickinson in the #5, #4 and #8 spots respectively. 
• Sabrina Schwarz secured the win for the Panthers in the third slot with a decisive three-game victory, relinquishing just five points. 
• Closing out the match was Mariana Reedich with a 3-1 against triumph. 
• Middlebury earned the point at #9 via default to ease to the 7-2 victory.

 
NOTES

• The Panthers and Dickinson played for the fifth time overall with Middlebury winning each meeting. 

 
The Panthers continue their road trip on Saturday against #13 Georgetown at 2:00 p.m.
