#20 Men’s Squash Posts 7-2 Victory Over #28 Dickinson

Aditya Kothari clinched the match with a 3-0 victory.
The #20 Middlebury men's squash team secured a 7-2 victory over #28 Dickinson on Friday afternoon. 
 
HIGHLIGHTS
  • Charlie Clifford started strong for the Panthers, securing a sweep (11-5, 11-1, 11-8) over Aidan Ray in the #7 spot. 
  • The Red Devils grabbed the point with a shutout to knot the score at 1-1.
  • Gabe Feinstein (#4), Alexis Ballo (#9), Aditya Kothari (#8), Theo Kogan (#6) and Kian Kardestuncer (#3) each tallied 3-0 victories over their opponents. Kothari clinched the match for Middlebury with his triumph over Cormac Sullivan.
  • After splitting the first two games against William Krizek, Caleb Boateng took control by winning the third and fourth games (11-4, 11-8) to gain a 3-1 triumph in the fifth slot. 
  • Will Lichstein battled against Dickinson's Omar Ali in the #2 spot before falling in a five-game thriller for the 7-2 decision.
 
NOTES
  • The victory marked the 90th career win for head coach Mark Lewis
  • The programs met for the sixth time overall with Middlebury owning a 5-1 edge in the all-time series.
The Panthers continue their road trip on Saturday against #16 Navy at 4:00 p.m.
