Men’s Golf Finishes As The Williams Fall Invite Runner-Up

Underhill finished in a tie for second place.
The Middlebury men's golf team led after the first day of competition at the Williams Fall Invitational and finished in second place with a score of 599. Gustavus Adolphus came from behind to edge the Panthers (590 strokes), while Bowdoin rounded out the top-three squads (605).

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Pacing the Middlebury pack was Bradshaw Underhill, finishing in a tie for second place with a score of 148 (72-76).
  • Just one stroke back was Henry Harrison, placing eighth among five other players. The Panther shot a weekend-low 73 on day one.
  • Julian Galindo Macias earned 14th alongside three other competitors, recording a score of 150 (74-76).
  • Rounding out the group was Paul Fine-Lease (79-75) and Brendan O'Holleran (77-77). Both shot a combined score of 154 to tie for 30th place. 
NOTES
  • Middlebury was the only school to go under 300 on day one (296).  
The Panthers return to action on Saturday when they compete on the first day of the Bowdoin Fall Invitational.
