NOTES
- Duke Nelson graduated from Middlebury in 1932 and served as a naval officer in World War II. When Duke returned to his alma mater, he was the head football, men's ice hockey and men's golf coach, as well as an assistant athletic director. He became the athletic director in 1956 and held that role until retirement in 1969. Following his death in 1989, late athletic director Russ Reilly named the invitational in honor of Duke.
The Panthers return to the links next weekend when they travel to Massachusetts for the Williams Fall Invitational.
