The #16 Middlebury women's cross country team claimed its 12th-straight Aldrich Invitational title, amassing just 15 points. The Panthers swept the top-14 spots to retain the crown. Plattsburgh State finished in second (59 points), while Clarkson rounded out the podium with 79 points.

HIGHLIGHTS
- It was a sprint to the finish line for Audrey MacLean and Bea Parr as the duo challenged each other down the final stretch. MacLean broke the tape with a clocking of 22:37.7, while Parr was right behind in 22:56.6.
- A quartet of rookies finished in third, fourth, fifth and sixth places. Shea Fajen led the pack with a time of 24:04.9, while MK Cestaro was one tenth of a second behind. Naomi Gomel rounded out the scorers, crossing the line in 24:26.4.Â
- Amelia Gray (24:27.7) and Violet Ross (24:32.3) placed sixth and seventh, respectively.Â
NOTES
- The invitational was named after Middlebury Hall of Famer Terry Aldrich in 2011. He served as the head men's and women's cross country coach from 1975-2010 and has been the starter at the annual meet.
The Panthers travel to St. Lawrence on Saturday for the Hoffmann Invitational with a start time of 11:00 a.m.
