Dave Filias placed 13th in the hammer throw at this year's NCAA Championship.
Dave Filias of the Middlebury men's track & field team took home 13th place in the hammer throw at the NCAA Championship on Saturday evening. The Panther's showing earned him All-American Second Team honors for the first time in his career.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The junior followed up his first throw with distances of 55.26m and 55.17m during the second and third rounds, but it was not enough as he narrowly missed out on the top-eight places, and did not advance to the final round.
