HONOREE HIGHLIGHTS
  • Katz (Third Team)
    • Katz is an economics and computer science double major and earns the accolade for the initial time in her career after picking up her first CSC Academic All-District award earlier this month.
    • The junior capped the season with a pair of All-American performances at the NCAA Championships. She finished seventh in the 500-yard freestyle to claim a spot on the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) All-American First Team, before closing the championships with a ninth-place showing in the 1,650 free for a spot on the second squad.
    • The Panther was instrumental in leading Middlebury to a third-place finish while hosting the NESCAC Championship. Katz secured all-conference honors in both the 1,000 and 1,650 free, while setting a personal-best clocking of 16:59.41 in the longer event. The team's finish was the highest since the 2015-16 season.
    • This winter, Katz won a team-high 10 individual dual-meet victories.
    • In the classroom, the junior is a two-time NESCAC All-Academic selection and three-time Middlebury College Scholar.
    • Outside of the pool, Katz runs Middlebury Athletics' Athletes As Leaders Sexual Violence Prevention program for all 31 Panther teams and volunteers as a swim instructor for preschool age children.
