Kern earns NESCAC Player of the Week honors for the first time in his career.
Hayden Kern of the #17 Middlebury men's lacrosse team was lauded with NESCAC Player of the Week accolades after helping the squad complete an incredible 15-7 comeback against Trinity on Saturday.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Trailing 7-3 at the intermission, Kern shut out the Bantams in the second half, tallying eight stops during the final 30 minutes of action.
- The Panther truly came alive during the third frame, denying all six shots that he faced.
- Kern finished the contest with his ninth double-digit save total (13) this year.
- This is the first weekly conference honor of the sophomore's career.
Kern and Middlebury conclude the regular season on Wednesday, entertaining Williams at 5:00 p.m. with a hosting bid on the line.
