Colin McCaigue earned runner-up honors at the Williams Spring Invite, pacing Middlebury to a fifth place finish with a two-round total of 602. The hosts won the event with a score of 586, while Trinity was right behind with a 588, followed by Hamilton (595) to round out the top-three.

HIGHLIGHTS
- McCaigue shot one under par on the opening day of competition, and moved up five spots on Sunday. The Panther claimed runner-up honors (72-71), just one stroke behind the medalist with a 143.
- Carding an even par on Saturday was Henry Harrison who finished in a tie for sixth place overall (71-76-147).
- Charlie Schulman fired identical 78s on each day to tie for 31st place, while Brendan Maykel tied for 35th with a combined 157.
- Rounding out the Panther scorers was Tucker Lamb, finishing in a tie for 42nd (79-80).

- McCaigue's two-day total of 143 tied his best ever weekend score.
Middlebury is set to defend its NESCAC Title from a year ago when it travels to Bowdoin next weekend for the two-day championship event.
