Reha’s All-American Finish Highlights Day Three Under The Lights

Reha earned All-American honors with a sixth-place finish.
Mika-Anne Reha finished in sixth place in the slalom on the final day of alpine competition at the NCAA Championship. The event was hosted under the lights at Howelsen Hills in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
 
The Panthers moved up one spot to 10th place overall with 132 points. Utah continues to lead the event with 444.5 points, while Denver (401 points) overtook Colorado (393.5 points) for second place.
 
HIGHLIGHTS
  • On the first run of the night, Reha tied for the seventh fastest time (42.70 seconds). She moved up one spot after the second run, combining for a time of 1:26.07 to place sixth and earn All-American status.
  • Katie Fynn earned a top-15 finish in the event, completing her two trips down the mountain in 1:26.78 to finish 14th.
  • Rounding out the women's squad was Alexandra Cossette. The Panther had the ninth-quickest time (43.04 seconds) on the second run of the day to place 27th overall. 
  • On the men's side, Charlie Lang moved up eight spots between runs, finishing in 14th place with a two-run clocking of 1:20.58. The Panther had the fifth-fastest time of 41.54 seconds during the second run.
  • Bradshaw Underhill placed 26th overall, completing his two strips in 1:35.25. 
NOTES
  • With her finish, Reha earned a spot on the All-American Second Team. The prestigious honor is the first in her career. 
The nordic squad wraps up the championship on Saturday afternoon with the classic mass start.
