Callia Ferraris and
Avery McInerny of the #7 Middlebury women's ice hockey team have been named to the All-NESCAC Second Team. Both players are earning all-conference accolades for the first time in their careers.

- Ferraris (Second Team)
- Ferraris has played in all 24 games this year, and has been critical on both ends of the ice.
- The Panther is second on the team with 11 assists and is third on the squad with 14 points to go along with her three goals.
- The rookie tallied the game-winning marker in a 1-0 series-opening victory against Williams two weekends ago, securing crucial points for the NESCAC standings.
- Ferraris has recorded three multi-point contests this year, including a goal and an assist in a 4-3 overtime win against Hamiton.
- McInerny (Second Team)
- McInerny has fueled the offensive output this season, leading the squad in points (18) and assists (13).
- The Panther's point total ranks third in the NESCAC, while the 13 helpers are seventh.
- McInerny was instrumental in Middlebury's 4-3 overtime victory against then-#7 Hamilton, scoring the game-tying tally with just 43 seconds left and assisting on the golden goal.
- The sophomore has registered three games with three or more points, including a career-high four (2G, 2A) against UMass.-Boston.
Ferraris, McInerny and the rest of the Panthers are back in action on Friday at 7:30 p.m. when they take on #10 Colby in the NESCAC Semifinals.
