Mika-Anne Reha won Saturday's slalom for her first career victory, as the Middlebury ski teams finished in fourth place during the Williams Carnival amassing 717 points. The University of Vermont won the team title with 846.5 points, edging Dartmouth (843 points), while the University of New Hampshire (769 points) rounded out the top-three spots.
ALPINE HIGHLIGHTS
- Reha carved her way down the mountain with a winning two-run time of 1:40.21. Her first-run clocking of 47.88 seconds was the quickest of the day, marking the only competitor to go under 48 seconds.
- Also earning points for the Panther women was Tatum Coutu who finished in 22nd place (1:44.63).
- On the men's side, Sebastian Segre recorded a top-10 effort with a combined time of 1:33.30. His second-run clocking of 45.78 was the fourth fastest among the 34 competitors who completed their two runs.Â
- Charlie Lang tallied a top-20 finish, crossing the line with a two-run effort of 1:33.62 for 17th place.
NORDIC HIGHLIGHTS
- Saturday's action featured the teams competing in a 3x5 kilometer relay race with the Panthers earning runner-up accolades in both events.
- On the women's side, the trio of Maggie Wagner, Shea Brams and Sofia Scirica crossed the line with a combined time of 47:00.1 to finish in second place and earn 106 points.
- The men's team of Jack Christner, Mason Wheeler and Logan Moore posted a runner-up clocking of 40:59.8 garnering 106 points.

- Reha's victory is her second-straight podium after finishing third during Friday's giant slalom.Â
- The 10th-place finish by Segre during Saturday's slalom was a career best.
- Lang's 17th-place finish in the slalom gives him a pair of top-20 efforts this winter.
The Panthers return to competition next weekend when they host their own carnival at the Rikert Outdoor Center (nordic) and the Middlebury Snowbowl (alpine). The weekend will also serve as the Eastern Intercollegiate Skiing Association (EISA) Regional Championship.
