The Middlebury women’s squash team begins its 2024-25 campaign on Saturday, November 17 against Connecticut College. Eight Panthers return to the squad alongside three newcomers. The program looks to build off a successful 2023-24 season which it posted a 14-5 record, advancing to the semifinals of the Kurtz Cup and finishing 15th in the nation.

Abby Holding, Mariana Reedich and Madeline Schwarz recorded strong seasons a year ago. Holding, who will serve as a captain, saw a bulk of action at the fourth spot of the ladder with a 10-6 mark and won nine of her first 10 matches. Reedich put together a solid rookie campaign, posting the second-most wins on the team (17) and a 9-0 showing from the #7 slot. M. Schwartz led Middlebury with an 18-2 record and finished the season with a six-match winning streak, including two at the CSA Team Championships.

Lindsay Burnham earned five victories from the top position, including securing three out of four to start the season. Margaux Comai excelled with a 10-8 record and finished the winter winning four of her last five matches, which were all against ranked opponents.

Lewis begins his 10th season leading the Panthers with an 86-66 record.
