#16 Women’s Squash Downs #21 Dickinson 6-3

Clementine Campbell earned her second collegiate win during the victory.
The 16th-ranked Middlebury women's squash team downed #21 Dickinson 6-3 on Saturday afternoon.
 
HIGHLIGHTS
  • Maya Bardorf opened the match with a three-game victory (11-3, 11-6, 11-7) at #6. Clementine Campbell followed with a sweep (11-4, 11-2, 11-9) at the bottom of the ladder to give the Panthers a 2-0 lead.
  • The Red Devils tallied their first point of the match with a four-game win in the third slot. 
  • At #4, Abby Holding eased to a 11-4, 11-5, 12-10 triumph to make it 3-1 before Madeline Schwarz gave Middlebury a 4-1 advantage with a 11-9, 11-5, 11-2 win in the eighth spot.
  • Dickinson cut the deficit to 4-2 with a victory at #2.
  • Mariana Reedich clinched the match with a three-game win (11-9, 11-2, 11-4) in the seventh spot 
  • In the middle of the ladder, Eva Finney secured a sweep (12-10, 11-9, 11-8), before the Red Devils closed the match with a triumph at #1 to give the Panthers a 6-3 win.
NOTES
  • Reedich and M. Schwarz continue their superb play to start the season, as both players moved to 4-0 in their collegiate careers. 
  • The programs played for the fourth time with Middlebury claiming all four meetings.
The Panthers will conclude this weekend's action when they face #23 Franklin & Marshall tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.
