#13 Women’s Squash Blanks Brown 9-0

Kieran Suntha surrendered just four points in her victory.
The 13th-ranked Middlebury women's squash team tied a program record with its ninth-consecutive win on Friday night. The Panthers blanked Brown 9-0 to improve to 11-1 on the year.
 
HIGHLIGHTS
  • Middlebury came out strong, earning a pair of quick 3-0 sweeps. Margaux Comai finished first at #4, followed closely by Madeline Schwarz in the eighth slot who surrendered just four points (11-2, 11-0, 11-2). 
  • Lindsey Burnham raced out to a 2-0 lead at the top of the ladder, was edged in the third game, but game back to earn a 3-1 victory and give the Panthers a solid 3-0 advantage. 
  • In the seventh spot, Mariana Reedich was phenomenal, dropping just one point to earn a dominant three-game sweep.
  • Maya Bardorf clinched the match with a 3-0 triumph at #6, while Kieran Suntha surrendered just four points (11-2, 11-1, 11-1) to increase the Middlebury advantage to 6-0.
  • Abby Holding (#3), Eva Finney (#5) and Sabrina Schwarz (#2) made it 9-0 with a trio of straight-game sweeps.  
NOTES
  • Reedich and M. Schwarz each improved to 12-0, while Bardorf and Holding increased their winning streaks to nine-consecutive triumphs.
 
Middlebury is idle on Saturday and travels to #11 Tufts for a 1:00 p.m. start.
