The 20th-ranked Middlebury men's squash team was downed 8-1 by #11 Williams in its first match of the weekend.
 
HIGHLIGHTS

• Grabbing the lone point for the Panthers was David Zhao in the eighth slot. Knotted 1-1, Zhao came back to win two-straight games for the 3-1 victory.
• Four of the Ephs points came in straight-game victories at #1, #2, #4 and #7, while claiming 3-1 wins at #3 and #6.
• Kian Kardestuncer lost a tight battle in the fifth spot, being edged 3-2 by his opponent.

NOTES

• Zhao continued his impressive start to his Middlebury career, improving to 7-0 as he remains the only unbeaten Panther.
