Men’s Golf Places 11th At Bowdoin Invitational

Trevor Stachecki fired a two-day score of 158 at the Bowdoin Invitational.
The Middlebury men's golf team placed 11th at the Bowdoin Invitational this weekend with a two-day score of 611 (299-312). Trinity won the event with a two-day score of 589 (291-298), while New York University (NYU) finished second (592) and Hamilton (593) rounded out the top three.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • NYU's Joymuth Luangtana-anan won the event, carding a combined score of 140, including a tournament-low round of 67 on Sunday.
  • Colin McCaigue led the Panthers, firing an even-par two-day score of 144 (71-73) to tie for sixth overall. He tallied nine birdies over his two rounds. 
  • Charlie Schulman was Middlebury's next scorer, finishing with a tally of 154 (78-76) to tie for 41st. 
  • Trevor Stachecki (158) and Julian Galindo Macias (159) placed 67th and 72nd, respectively. 
  • Rounding out the scorers for the Panthers was Bradshaw Underhill, who carded a two-day score of 161. His tournament was highlighted by a two-over-par round 74 on Saturday which included two birdies.  
Middlebury returns to the course when it travels to Saratoga Springs to take part in the Skidmore Invitational next weekend.
