The fourth-ranked Middlebury women's tennis team kicked off the fall portion of its season at the Thoroughbred Invitational hosted by Skidmore. The weekend featured five teams and matches consisting of one single-pro set in both singles and doubles action.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Lulu Wu (4-0), Anna Lardner (3-0), Charlotte McCann (3-0) and Sami Remis (3-0) each went undefeated during singles play for the Panthers.
• Nina Farhat (3-1) also won a trio of matches as an individual. 
• Also earning triumphs for Middlebury were Amy Delman, Sahana Raman, Ananya Annapantula and Gena Huang.
• The Panthers won all four doubles matches during Friday's play against Siena and followed that with victories in each of the five matchups with Union. 
• The tandem of Raman and Delman went a perfect 3-0, while the pair of Farhat and Annapantula were unbeaten in three matches. 

NOTES

• Raman improves to 45-11 in singles action with her two wins.
• The triumph by Annapantula during singles play was the first of her career.

The Panthers return to action next weekend at the ITA Regional Championships hosted by Wesleyan.
