Nine players from the Middlebury men's hockey team received academic praises from the American Hockey Coaches Association.
The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) tabbed nine Middlebury men's hockey players
Krampade/AHCA All-American Scholars. The Panthers are among 461 Division II/III players selected for the award which recognizes any athlete who owns a 3.75 grade point average (GPA) or above for each semester and appears in a minimum of 40% of the team's games.
Collecting recognition for Middlebury were
Antoine Belisle,
Billy Dobensky,
Chris Garbe,
Jake Horoho and
Andrej Hromic. Also earning praise for their classroom work were
Jin Lee,
Tyler Little,
Matt Myers and
Zach Whitehead.
Belisle, Dobensky, Garbe, Hromic and Little were recognized by the organization for the third time for their academic achievements. Horoho, Lee and Myers each received the award for the second time, while Whitehead earned his initial accolade.
