Men’s Tennis Sweeps ITA Academic Awards

All 11 members of the Men's Tennis team were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
The third-ranked Middlebury men's tennis team secured Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic honors, while the team's entire roster were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.

The 11 individuals who were honored were Neel Epstein, Aidan Harris, Hugh Hentschel, Nathan Jackson, Maximus Kim, Noah Laber, Andrew Mueller, Robby Ward, Julian Wu and Zihao Yuan.

The squad had a successful 2022-23 campaign, claiming the program's 11th NESCAC Championship and reaching the NCAA Semifinal round.

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.

To earn ITA All-Academic status, a team must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
