The Middlebury women's golf team sits in third place with a score of 317 after the opening day of the NESCAC Championships on Saturday. Leading the four-team field is 14th-ranked Amherst (306), while #13 and host Williams is in second place (311).

- Audrey Tir was two shots behind Lee, closing her first round in fifth place with a score of 76. Highlighting her round was a birdie on the par-three 14th hole.
- Katie Murphy carded a 79 in her opening round to sit in a tie for eighth place. She posted a birdie on the par-four 13th hole.
- Elizabeth Kenter and Mia Politano rounded out the scorers for Middlebury. Kenter collected a birdie on the par-four second hole, as both Panthers are tied for 20th after the opening round with identical 88s.
Middlebury and the rest of the field close out the championships on Sunday.
