Kessler and Men’s DMR Compete at Tufts National Qualifying Meet

Lachlan Bishop was a part of the men's DMR team that ran at the Tufts National Qualifying Meet today.

Zander Kessler and members of the distance medley relay (DMR) represented the Middlebury men's track and field team at the Tufts National Qualifying Meet on Saturday afternoon in the final meet before the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 10-11.

HIGHLIGHTS

In the DMR, the quartet of Zach Utz, Peter Hansen, Lachlan Bishop and Max Cluss placed 11th, stopping the clock in 10:01.17. The squad bettered their top time by .47 seconds and currently holds the 33rd best time nationally.
Zander Kessler crossed the finish line in 10th place in the 5,000m, with a time of 14:51.37. His top time of 14:28.44 currently ranks 39th in the nation.

Selections for the NCAA Indoor Championships will be announced on Sunday by 5:00 p.m. The championships will be hosted at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama.
