Riley Griffis of the Middlebury men's swimming and diving team represented the Panthers at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on March 15-16. The championships were hosted by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Griffis made his debut at the championships on Wednesday morning. In the 500-yard freestyle preliminaries, he touched the wall in 4:32.79 to place 28th out of 38 swimmers.
- On Thursday, the Panther finished in 18th out of 37 in the 200 free. Griffis stopped the clock with a time of 1:39.73.
 Griffis had a phenomenal sophomore campaign, breaking the school record in the 500 free (4:28.50), while earning All-NESCAC honors in the 200 free with a runner-up finish (1:38.61).
