The Middlebury alpine team had a pair of women place in the top-15 spots in the slalom at the NCAA Championships on Friday. Combined with the nordic squad, the Panthers sit in 10th place with 146 points heading into the final day of competition. Utah leads the field of 22 teams with 358 points, while Colorado is right behind with 356.5 points.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The women's squad was paced by Alexandra Cossette and Sofia Yubero. Cossette was the top skier for Middlebury, finishing in 13th place with a combined clocking of 1:53.05. Yubero was just two spots back in 15th, completing her two trips down the mountain in 1:53.37.Â
- Rounding out the scorers for the Panthers was Sophia Tozzi, placing 23rd with a two-run time of 1:54.17.
- On the men's side, Bradshaw Underhill finished in 30th place with a combined time of 2:07.71.
NOTES
- The women's slalom tallied the highest point total in a single discipline so far this week, recording 42 points in the event.Â
The NCAA Championships wrap up on Saturday with the nordic 20K mass start on Mt. Van Hoevenberg in Lake Placid, N.Y.
