Middlebury has announced the promotion of

"Jason brings an incredible skill set to the role of offensive coordinator and quarterbacks' coach for the Middlebury football program," said Michael G. Heinecken Head Coach of Football
Doug Mandigo '96. "He matches a high passion for football with a very innovative offensive mind and the energy and attention to detail that the players will gravitate to!"
"Middlebury College is a special place and I am thrilled to take on this position," said Thomas. "I want to thank Erin Quinn and Coach Mandigo for trusting me with this opportunity, as well as Coach Ritter for his guidance over the years. I can't wait to get started in this new role."
Thomas brings a wealth of experience to this position, having coached since graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1998. Thomas coached the wide receivers at Randolph-Macon College, the University of New Hampshire and the University at Buffalo. He was recently the head football coach at Burr and Burton Academy from 2008-2018 and held the same position at the Flint School from 2019-2020 before returning to Middlebury in 2021.
